How much will my beef cost?

We sell locker beef by "hanging weight". (Hanging weight or rail weight is the weight of the meat before trimming fat or bone from the carcass after it has aged.)

Current pricing* is $3.25 per pound. Cutting and wrapping charges for whole and half quantities are an additional .65 per pound with an additional processing charge of $25.00 per half. Cutting and wrapping for ¼ beef is .65 per pound to cover the additional handling required. These fees are paid separately to the butcher. An average whole beef will cost $2,700. An average half will cost $1,350. An average quarter will cost $675. Remember to calculate cutting and wrapping charges in addition to these estimates.
